Voice of Peace
Voice Of Peace is a new media ministry with Youth With A Mission Ireland. So far we’ve established an effective radio ministry at home and abroad as a springboard to more of what God wants. For more info, check out our website: www.voiceofpeace.org.uk
We are looking for people with humility who have a hunger to learn and do new things.
Do you have a passion to serve Jesus through the use of media and use it to edify and equip God’s people?
Are you gifted or interested in any of these areas?
- media technology, i.e. computers, web design, audio / video production, engineering, etc.
- media presentation, i.e. graphic design, voice overs.
- good organisational and administrative skills.

Our work is situated in a small friendly town, Banbridge (35 minutes drive south of Belfast), where YWAM has made a positive impact with a community radio ministry.

Accounts & finances – Northern Ireland (Belfast & Rostrevor)
We are currently and desperately in need of someone with a heart for accounting (our current accounts person will be leaving in July 2010, but will be around for advice in Belfast for the foreseeable future). This could be a part time role, making space for other opportunities/ministries. Hospitality – Rostrevor
In keeping with Northern Irish hospitality, we are needing a Hospitality Manager to ensure our guests, visiting teams, and speakers are well cared for while visiting our base. Assisting with Visiting Teams
YWAM here loves to host teams who want to serve on the island of Ireland. With the ever increasing number of teams applying to volunteer here, we are in need of people who can assist the Visiting Team Coordinator. If you have great people-skills, like working with people from different cultures, are good with logistics and time management, then please apply for this position! Opportunities in Belfast
Since 2002, our team in Belfast have historically lived in and around the working class Shankill neighborhood in West Belfast, often ignored but only a few minutes from city centre. We want to continue to build a team committed to reaching the community in this area – youth, elderly, lonely, poor, addicts, and others, as well as build bridges for reconciliation. In the last decade, we’ve hosted quite a few DTSs and visiting teams, sent outreaches, worked in schools, partnered with community groups, etc. During the summer of 2010, the core YWAM Belfast team will be focusing on getting our ministry rolling in Rostrevor. If you have a heart for Belfast (or somewhere else in Ireland), join us there for training and community in Rostrevor for a season before we come back to Belfast and pioneer teams around Ireland.
