Voice of Peace
Voice Of Peace is a new media ministry with Youth With A Mission Ireland. So far we’ve established an effective radio ministry at home and abroad as a springboard to more of what God wants. For more info, check out our website: www.voiceofpeace.org.uk
We are looking for people with humility who have a hunger to learn and do new things.
Do you have a passion to serve Jesus through the use of media and use it to edify and equip God’s people?
Are you gifted or interested in any of these areas?
- media technology, i.e. computers, web design, audio / video production, engineering, etc.
- media presentation, i.e. graphic design, voice overs.
- good organisational and administrative skills.

Our work is situated in a small friendly town, Banbridge (35 minutes drive south of Belfast), where YWAM has made a positive impact with a community radio ministry.

Shankill Community and Cafe Ministry - Belfast
Most of our staff in Belfast currently live in and around the working class Shankill neighborhood in West Belfast, often ignored but only a few minutes from city centre. We want to continue to build a team committed to reaching the community in this area - youth, elderly, lonely, poor, addicts, and others, as well as build bridges for reconciliation. We currently have a partnership with a local business to help run a cool little cafe in this challenging area that is in need of a team committed to developing use of the space and seeing it built into an established venue for ministry. We want to see the space open for new and creative ways of reaching the community, as well as continue to be a place where locals can come for some good food and drink, prayer and conversation, and a model of caring community that reflects Christ. Forgiveness and Reconciliation Education - Belfast
We are building a team passionate for forgiveness and reconciliation. Current opportunities are in liaising with local schools to facilitate an existing curriculum in forgiveness, but the ministry has potential to expand.
